Snoring is thought to be the final result of the vibration going down in the higher airway which includes parts like the throat, mouth and the nose. Due to blockages, turbulence is caused during respiration. While we breathe just about the entire day, we only snore at night because our muscle tone is pretty much reduced at sleeping which inspires the downfall of these tissues.
